Sunday was locals appreciation day at Moody Gardens. Scott and I decided to ride our bikes (14 miles, what!?!?!) to the Galveston pyramids and check out the attractions. I really enjoyed the newly remodeled rain forest pyramid, but my favorite thing by far was this beautiful octopus.
His aquarium was tucked away, between the seals and seahorses.
If only I'd taken a video of his graceful climb from the bottom of the tank to the top of the water.
It's unfortunate that he isn't as popular. But I guess that's what happens when you're not the focus of an animated children's movie.
